When I was smoking cigars a few times a week and I could tolerate the nicotine, I would love smoking mine down to the nub. I thought the best parts of the cigar were the first couple puffs, and then the last couple inches.
I may have mentioned in the past that I have a friend that does this constantly. I'll hand him a nice RyJ Vintage stick, he'll cut it in sections, and stuff it into some $5 used pipe he bought at some cigar store (and never cleans). UFFA!
The only way to stop him is to offer him a large ring Padron '64 Anniv. He'll stare at it a while, until the square peg in a round hole thing finally deters him. A very expensive tobacco intelligence test if you ask me!
