The Hoffritz has landed

This has got to be the best week for Hoffritz razor scores I see allot of posts. Mine came in today in surprisingly near mint condition. It appears the only wear is to the actual case. I am going to give this razor a run tonight.

I have a Merk slant and dealt with pain the first few times I used it. After a re visit of the Merk slant the shaves were much better I am hoping this Hofritz will work out well.

I threw a UK Personna in the razor tonight and with a little effort received a 3 pass BBS shave. I am very surprised at just how smooth this razor is as I was expecting some serious damage. If I can get the same results for a few more days this razor will be a keeper.

I had the exact same experience with my Merkur 37C. I'm glad I gave it another chance.
BTW, congratz on that near-mint Hoffritz! I'm sure you will enjoy it for many years.

I am thoroughly enjoying the razor so far tonight is round 2. When I first tried the Merk slant I was very cocky, had a horrible technique, was impatient and used a feather blade a big mistake.

EDIT: 2nd shave tonight was outstanding another 3 pass BBS shave. This razor really loves my face and is about as perfect as it gets.
