Besides being a beautiful and stylish piece of advertising in its own right, this one might evoke images of the the long distant past for some of us … perhaps a hazy reminiscence of someone’s parents or grandparents, now very old or gone, first courting back in the day … full of youth and beauty, and promise for the future. It’s a snapshot of one of the stages of life, something we sometimes forget that we all share. Old Grandpa or Pop-pop Codger was once a vibrant and dashing young man in his prime, too.

Looks like the guy I saw coming out of a bar at 7 am on Decadence weekend years ago. Except he was wearing a leather biker cap and a leather Speedo.
