The Bloom That Ate Cleveland

I just got my new Kent BLK12. Yes, I knew going in that it was an enormous brush, but I already have three brushes with 30mm +/- knots - A Rooney 3XL, a Shavemac 220 and a Vulfix 41. None of them prepared me for this: Check out the Kent (31 x 64 mm) before and after, my Rooney 3XL (30 x 53 mm) and my Vulfix 41 (29 x 57mm) .

Oh, and this brush redefines the term "soap hog".

$BKSR.jpgI used to have a BK12 pictured here next to an 18 mm SR. Very luxurious - a must try brush IMO. Since I limit myself to 12 brushes, it was sold a few years ago to make room for something else. I still miss it! A passing comment - Kent "pure badger" is essentially everyone else's silvertip or super grade. Pure usually implies the lower grade but not in this case.

I suppose if you want to try every soap in the world, and use them up rather than sell or PIF them, then the Kent BK12 is the way to go.

Does the 12 in BK12 stand for the number of passes it can hold lather for?
