The art of Stretching

Well I recently figured out that when you stretch your skin a bit with your hand, a much better shaving result is achieved, especially at the chin areas.

Also personally I have a better feel of the area I shave, as I can feel the "vibration" between the blade and the chopped hair via the hand that holds my skin stretched

quite an experience :tongue_sm

And if you use a straight...it's almost impossible to shave without cutting yourself unless you stretch your skin...well...at least for me! :)

Stretching the skin while shaving clearly gives much better results.
This happens because by pulling the skin with the free hand, you create a "flat " surface on your face on which your razor can glide more easily.
By stretching the skin you also move away the whiskers from your face, making them much easier to cut.

Now if only I could stretch my chin area...:001_unsur

I've found that just tilting you head back and kind of jutting your jaw out provides a slight stretch in the chin area. Also if you shave your neck first, and save your chin for last, using the same tilt up of the head and pulling down on the skin above the adam's apple, will give a nice stretch to the underside of the chin, and allow you to get at that tough just under the jaw line area.
