which do you like best?
what order would you say they are categorized as far as quality?

So far I've been lead to believe that tobs is on the bottom as far as quality.
But which do you think is the highest quality of the three, and which of the three you prefer over the other.

also any other thoughts you'd like to throw in about the 3 T's.

Each of these questions pertains to each kind: soaps and creams respectively

so soaps vs soaps, and creams vs creams

Quality is going to be very similar as they're all made by the same manufacturer. It basically boils down to which ones you prefer due to the scent or the consistency of the cream in the pot. Each of them offers some scents the others don't have. Taylor's has the Avocado cream with Avocado Oil and the two types of Sensitive creams and Truefitt has the Ultimate Comfort cream which are unique products because the formula is a bit different from the standard creams.

I never used TOBS , I have used Trumpers and T&H and I have to say, I am a T&H fan. But your best bet is to possibly buy a sampler pack of all three and give it a shot yourself.

Comparing what, exactly? I mean, TOBS has better cream, Trumper's better soaps, and they all have very different scents, IMO...

Thats one of the first times i've heard tobs makes better creams than the other two

Well, yeah...YMMV, of course, lol...I DO find the TOBS to be a top performer in the cream category though, particularly Rose and Avocado, and for soaps, the old formulation (tallow) Trumper's..um..."trumps" the others, but even the newer formulation is still great (although I've not tried TOBS soaps, to be fair).

A lot of chaps think TOBS makes the same quality product as the other two for half the price.

As mentioned in a previous post, when comparing the three T's cost comes into the equation. If money is no object, my opinion is that Trumpers is the best quality, however when price is taken into account, there is no way that the difference in quality between Trumpers and TOBS reflects the difference in price. For that reason, I will always purchase TOBS before Trumpers. T&H is somewhere in between.

In terms of quality and performance Truefitt & Hill and Castle Forbes are the very best in the world.

Taylors and Trumpers are also very good brands, but just not at the same high level.

So, here is my ranking:

1. Truefitt & Hill - Castle Forbes (share first place);
2. Taylor of Old Bond Street;
3. Geo F. Trumper.

I have only tried Trumper's and Taylor's, so I'll have to limit my comments to those.

I love GFT skin food and I would have to say I am mixed on the creams. There are some TOBS creams I love and some GFT creams I love. It probably comes down to a tie there. I do really enjoy the TOBS after shaves, however.

I probably give a slight edge to TOBS overall.

I find that T&H and TOBS are pretty much on par with each other in terms of quality. Having said that, YMMV.

I can't compare with Trumpers though as i'm yet to give them a try.

At one time i was a devoted trumpers user. Now i have moved on to other creams. However trumpers coconut is still one of my favs. I am sure you will get lots of posts on this question.
