The title of this thread may have you a bit confused, but I will explain. In December I applied to Rice University in Houston and had to write an essay on a unique perspective or experience I had on life, so of course I wrote about wetshaving. I talked about how so much of modern technology is focused on speed and convenience rather than being a quality product. I used examples of wetshaving and writing with a fountain pen to talk about how doing things faster is not always better.
Fast forward to late March and I found out I was accepted. I just recently put down my deposit and I will be headed there next fall. Also, the best thing is there is a shaving shop a few blocks away from the college
