TGN/WD or SOC 2 Band?

I face lather and the SOC 2 Band gets a lot of rave reviews.
OTOH, so do the TGN Finest knots and while the SOC handle sure looks good, I am perfectly fine with a basic WD handle + a TGN knot and pocket the rest of the money for other stuff.

For those who have tried both (any TGN know for that matter or even a WD one), how do these compare?

I have both (22mm TGN finest) and SOC 2-band and love them both. They're different from each other but both are great. I don't think you will go wrong with either. Or you could just get both

For the money you can't go wrong with the TGN finest...

First off I'd like to admit I have not used a Semogue two band, that said, I think TGN Finests are as nice as many brushes that cost twice or more what they do. This is hardly a fully informed opinion, but I'm rater picky and the TGN's are awesome in my book.

I'll sign in and agree, both brush knots are excellent but if I had to choose one it would be the Semogue, keep in mind that my decision may be based on a slight prejudice towards the company. Not that much difference in price, now that the Vintage Scent has taken of vat (if you are in the USA).

PS I have two TGN finest and the SOC two band.
