Tea Cookies.

The grocery store where we shop used to sell some tea cookies that I like but they are not stocking them any more. What is a good traditional cookie that pairs well with tea. I say traditional because chocolate chip goes good with anything. Maybe some of you guys from Europe have a good suggestion as tea is more popular on that side of the pond. Thanks.

Moravian cookies are a tea time staple in our home - they come in any number of flavors and are very thin and quite tasty.

A couple of my favorites are Nabisco's Social Tea biscuits and Royal Dansk Danish butter cookies (if you like something sweeter).

All of the above suggestions are great. I really like Lotus Biscoff cookies. Safeway has them here. After moving back to the US from the UK, I can honestly say that I deeply miss the huge selection of tea "biscuits." (British term for cookies).

I like spice snaps. Or jammy dodgers, if you can find them. There's a British grocery store near my place that sells them, they're expensive, but quite good.
