Taylors of Bond Street DE

Hi everyone.

I am currently using Gillette Fusion for my daily shaves with taylors barber shop shaving cream and a nice taylors badger brush (best purchace!).

I was looking in my local Selfridges store and looking at the very nice variety of DE razors including the butterfly models. They were pretty expensive, so i got a wilkinson sword classic to have a go. I am still learing 1 week down the line, started off well but getting irritation now. I think its down to the razor and blades.

Has anyone tried these DE razors from Taylors. I think they are their own brand, well i am certain. Can anyone tell me if they are a rebadged version of another make?

Nobody seen or heard of the Taylors of old bond street safety razors?

I've only seen them (the butterfly head, right?)... althought I bought some Wilkinson's blades today... I'll give them a try and let you know if I get any irritation.

I know that in executive-shaving they're selling them aswell, so they can't be that bad. Perhaps the problem are the blades.
Have you changed anything on your prep?? you mentioned you started to get irriation recently.
I would've thought you should've had it at the begining, I mean with the first shaves.
Anyways, I'll let you know how it goes.
