Talcum powder that won't make me smell like my 70yo father?

Talc is good stuff in this hot weather, but clubman seems to be all that's out there. Wondering if anyone knows of anything else with a more subdued yet still manly scent. Not that I have any particular aversion to the clubman scent (as noted, it's what my father has used forever), but I work in a heathcare field and can't be too perfumed.

You can try BoraTalco from Italy. Very mild scent.
Yardley also still produces some mildly scented talcs.
There's also Johnson&Johnsons baby talc (yes, they still make a talc version, even though you have to look for it)

Worst case scenario, if you don't want the flood of corn starch based powders that seem to have flooded the market due to talcum powder fear, you can buy unscented talc powder from a dive shop.
They use it to make it easier to get into wetsuits.

There are some "manly" talcs out there but you have to spend for them. They're like $15 when last I looked. Then of course there are the TOBS talcs, which are even more expensive because you don't get much, but they smell amazing.

Yardley of India still makes some talcs with cologne scents. Sandalwood, Gold, and Elegance I believe (I've only tried the sandalwood and while okay, it is strongly scented). The Cinthol range of talcs are great and have nice, masculine scents, but you probably have to hunt Ebay or Indian markets for them. Finally, there's always Imperial Leather talc. Smells soapy and clean.

Yeah, not interested in spending too much money for a scent i don't want to be noticeable unless you are right on top of me. $1-2/oz for a body powder is reasonable. $5+ not so much. Not interested in corn starch powders either as ovarian cancer isn't at the top of my list of concerns.

The unscented power from dive shops is going to be way overpriced. I doubt if anyone else can smell any powder that you use however.

Dive shop talc is about 5 or 6 bucks for the 2.5 oz bottle. About as steep as some of the top line scented talcs, but if unscented is a top priority...

You know there is Gold Bond. I have used the Extra Strength version, It smells of eucalyptus and menthol but the scent dissipates very quickly. The amount of menthol may be a little to cooling for you some areas at first.

Victory, I have the perfect solution for you. Master Well Comb Talc. I bought a big plastic bottle (?, container, whatever!) for $3.99. It has no scent whatsoever, not even a powder scent or anything noticeable if someone is right next to you. It provides exceptional dryness as well.

I love this one its only $1.49 at amazon with shipping about $6 .Smells really good

Bingo. Cheap, little or no scent, and effective. I'm sure some of the other boutique product suggestions here work well, but I really don't make enough money to dust with dollar bills.

Where'd you find it? Barber/beauty supply?

Yes, I found it at a beauty supply store.

I use cornstarch. Does the trick, no scent, cheap and since its carcinogen free, ok to use on the private bits.

I second this recommendation. Unless you want something that actually has talcum powder in it, this will do nicely, since most of the non-talc powders are predominantly composed of cornstarch, and then add either fragrance or essential oils to scent.

I have been using California Baby non-talc powder. It's a cornstarch base, but adds goodies like bentonite and kaolin clays, and scents using tea tree and lavender e/o. However, it's pretty spendy, about on a par with TOBS per unit. That didn't seem too bad when the bottle just sat unused, but now that I'm starting to use it more regularly, I'm doubtful I'll spring for it again. As noted, pure cornstarch does the job just fine, at a fraction of the cost.

According to the ingredients label on the bottle, it does include a fragrance, so I'm a bit curious how it ends up having "no scent whatsoever." Are you sure there's no scent at all? Or is perhaps just very muted? I also see it is an old-school talc composition, including parabens and some ingredients I don't even recognize.
