You also could give it a rest. When I got my first bottle of Pashana in my wife hated it too and asked if I had used one of my daughter's (child) perfumes...
I didn't use it for a couple of weeks and tried it again; she claimed it was the best AS in my collection and when I confronted her with her initial verdict (not wise, I know) she simply said it was untrue since she has a good memory for scents

So here's what you do:
1) Put on the Tabac aftershave (start with a very very light application, then increase the intensity very slowly with each repetition)
2) Do something really nice for her, or give her some kind of gift. Try to time it so that it is only after she is thanking you that she notices the Tabac.
3) Repeat twice a week over the course of a year.
She will come to associate the scent of Tabac with positive experiences, and become psychologically conditioned to love it. Guaranteed to work!
