I reached into a bag of sampler blades I received a while ago... and pulled out a Super-Max Platinum that was one of the blades that the sampler had the most of. For some reason I avoided trying one, and included a number of these in Toothpick's blade exchange. Mistake...
The blade is manufactured by Vidyut Metallics PVT. Ltd and made in India. Here's a picture I shameless stole from the interwebs...
This blade is great! I used it in my Slim, set at 7, and at first I had to check that there was a blade in there, even though I was hearing it cut the beard, it was doing so so smoothly and comfortably. It didn't seem to even need lather (in fact, there were times I was going over the same spot and didn't have any lather left). It seemed to take longer and more passes to get as close a shave as some of the sharper blades (feather, Iridium Super, Meds), but it got there without any nicks, weepers, or burn.
Um... Toothpick, can we trade back?
