I was able to complete my first full face shave with a straight this morning! It was only WTG, but I got the whole thing - gives me a real sense of accomplishment! I had three small nicks around the nose/upper lip, and all were small enough that my alum took care of it. I've been messing with straights for a while now and only on the weekends so I can really have the time to go slow. Up until now, I've only felt comfortable enough to tackle the cheek areas and would stop at the jaw line to finish up with a DE. Obviously, the upper lip is still a problem area, as is directly under the chin. Any tips from our more experienced straight shavers would be appreciated - thanks!
