This morning I had my first straight shave that didn't need to be touched up. It wasn't exactly BBS (but it was passable) and I used my DE on my chin and under my nose. But everything else was all straight. I found that I have better visibility as to where the blade is on my face and a fairly good shave if I go diagonally across NE-SW (depending on which way is north). The neck was a challenge but I was able to make it work.

Congratulations! It's quite satisfying when shaving with a straight starts to come together.
It really is. I noticed that I'd have little "breakthroughs" every few weeks, whether it be less nicks/cuts or more BBS...It will continue to get better too!
and there was much rejoicing!
Sometimes straight shaving just doesn't seem to work out. But all at once it just falls into place and then they can't be beat.

That is something that I notice in the videos I have watched. Unlike shaving with a DE, the str8 lets you see
