Subtle cologne for a non-cologne wearer

I have not worn any type of cologne for almost 15 years. It was Hugo Boss back then. Now I am thinking of using unscented deodorant but would still like some type of subtle good smell. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Most colognes are reasonable subtle provided you don't put too much on.

I like Monsieur Balmain, especially in the warm months. Starts with a blast of lemon but cools down quickly to a nice, subtle, clean and refreshing scent.

Mugler Cologne by Thierry Mugler is what I would recommend. VERY light and clean. Smells more like good soap than cologne IMO.

This is a good suggestion. Monsieur Balmain can be bought for quite cheap too.

Another that came to mind that is similarly light, fresh, and "clean," which is also easy to find and inexpensive is CK One by Calvin Klein.

My most subtle scents are
Bvlgari Pour Homme (plus some of its flankers, like Soir)
F Ferragamo
Emporio Armani Lui/He

They also seem pretty classy to me too.

Renato

Thanks for all the input. I should hopefully find what I am looking for from all the recommendations.
