So this clears me up so I don't have to worry about others, I hope?
Cleaning my one EF pilot at work, I noticed that there was a thread or something in the nib. Trying to pull it out WITHOUT getting ink all over me resulted in something I didn't I could do.
See, it appears my nib comes off, completely. I didn't that, I mean I knew OTHERS did that, but just mine. And here I just refilled. My hands = a mess. Lucky my desk isn't, but that was close. So, stupid mistake, AND I learned something. I also learned that I need that tool.. that I think someone on here mentioned long ago, for the EF pen that was so fine, so sharp, that it shredded the paper and needed to be cleaned? What was that tool called?
My Google-fu skills might be on the blink, but searching for the tool wasn't really a task I could complete. However, it appears typing in "Extra Fine Nib tool thread" prompts to complete thread with Threadworms... so now I wonder what people are doing with their FP's, and that scares me. ^_^
