Stropping a disposable

My initial thought was - yeah, right. Ignoring all the sharpening on leather talk, I'll keep an open mind ...

... what do you think?

EDIT: I will not be taking a disposable to my Kanayama :thumbdown

I always take my newly honed knives to a leather strop and they improve so I figure it is possible. Still sticking to my straights.

How do you strop the other side of the blade?

Razor Renew: selling a low quality strop that no self-respecting straight razor user would consider as a money saving alternative to a nine cent DE blade.

Every so often, some knucklehead "discovers" a groundbreaking method to poorly replicate what we already know.

I'm not sure I would want to prolong the life of an irritating razor, even if it saved me a buck or two.

I would just strop it on my arm vs spending cold hard cash on that thing.

I was stropping disposables on bath towels for a while before I saw the light and switched to straights. It did make them last quite a while, like a month or more. I postulated that your whiskers deformed the blade in one direction and the one sided stropping brought it back.
