Nothing so fancy for me, I’ve always used a leather/paracord loop thong hitched over/around a doorknob or towel rack. I like mine about hip height, and used horizontally-ish. I didn’t like the shoulder hight hung, 45 degree angle stropping.

Bootlace, doorknob.
Jumbo zip tie that fits over a door handle. Not sexy but practical, easy to move, and effective for the job. No need to have ugly strops hanging in the bathroom. This way I can use it, then put it away until needed again…keeps my spouse happy.
These look like a nice way to store strops in the Man Cave or den between usage.

I use tie hanging racks. And a coat hook for the one Im going to strop on. But i have to say if ya only have a couple strops, those boards painted up do look nice. And easier on the wall paint.
