Straight razor + head + newbie straight user =

= not a bad head shave! I've been shaving my head for about two years now, one year worth with a DE and/or SE. I just got my two straights back today from being sharpened and a Gold Dollar was thrown in so I shaved my face and got to thinking. After a quick poll I stropped the razor for round two and shaved my head with a straight for the first time. Had a little trouble around my left ear but it went well. I made a video of the event if anyone wants to see it. Considering I've only used the straight 6 or 7 times previously to this I think I did very well! Oh boy, my straights are going to see a lot more use now!

I use a straight to touch up after my head shaves, but I've not yet used one for a full head shave. Someday soon, I think.

Every now and then he gets a splash of aftershave and I tell him to go to his mommy and tell her to smell him. Crazy kid.

Been using a straight for over a year. Shaving my head for over 13yrs. Still can't do my head (especially the back) with my straight.
