Stores in the Kansas City Area

I am new to wet shaving and was needing help actually finding stores in the kc area that sell quality shaving creams. I tried all the department stores at independence center and none of them carry any art of shaving products or some quality shaving creams. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to B&B. Nordstroms at Oak Park Mall in Overland Park carries Art of Shaving and Jack Black products. There is a store at 119th and Roe, S-s-scents is the name i think, that carries a few eShave items. Diebels Sportsmans Gallery on The Plaza carries Caswell-Massey and Muhle, as well as some Merkur razors. There is Bath and Body Works in most malls that carry C.O. Bigelow green tube/Proraso. The Body Shop, also in most malls has a fair shaving cream. Crabtree & Evelyn I believe might still sell some creams. That's all I can come up with off the top of my head.

There's also a Crabtree and Evelyn store at Oak Park Mall. According to their website that's the only one in the area.

I checked a couple of tabacco shops a couple of years ago, and didn't find anything. Thank goodness for mail order.

There is also a Diebel's across the street from Town Center Plaza in Leawood, KS. They carry mainly Col. Con's soap's as well as a few Merkur's. Nothing too fancy. The CT & E at the Oak Park Mall does carry some creams and soaps as well as some brushes. No DE razors though. I have made all of my razor purchases online.

There is also a full service L'occitane store on the Country Club Plaza. They have all the mens edts, the shave soap refills, and the Cade a/s splash and balm. They may even have a few of the now discontinued shave soap w/pewter bowls left but who knows? I haven't been there in months. Hall's department store is on the Plaza as well and they have the Creed line. They may have other high end items as well but did not have any traditional shaving items the last time I was there.

Regards, Todd
