Sticky Bristles........

HI, gents.
Anyone know if the lanolin products such as musgo real SC or MWF soap sticky over time make the bristles of a brush.

Regards.

Hi,

I use both Musgo SC & MWF as my daily soaps, and over a period of a few months they do start to leave the brush a little on the 'coated' side.

If you rinse the brush thoroughly after each use with hot then cold water, the build up is very slow.

Every few months, I soak/wash the brush in baby shampoo, then soak in vinegar/water/glycerin mix for ten minutes, and the brush is again like new.

Best regards

Russ

+1

I do this to my brushes about once a year, cleans soap from hiding in the knot. Makes them work again as if they were showroom fresh
