So I'll start off by saying I have a variety of 9 brushes including:
2 Shavemacs
A Simpson
A Vei Long Badger
2 Semogues 2011 LEs (Badger and Boar)
A Vulfix
Now 2 Restores
I just received a restored Ever Ready 200 from BST (Thanks Eric). This is my second restore - the first was my Grandfather's Fuller that Mr. Vey did a great job restoring. This was also my first brush as I entered in DE Shaving.
So after looking at these restores from yesteryear, they just seem to have more character to them than the newer brushes. Don't get me wrong, the newbies are very nice and I will not be parting with most of them (there are two I am considering giving up) but these older brushes are really starting to appeal to me.
Well just thought I would share - we will see how this goes.
Who am I kidding - let the SBAD begin.
