Stainless Steel Flask as an aftershave splash container?

Just wondering if keeping my aftershave splashes in a stainless steel container would be bad. would the alcohol or oils react with the stainless after a time. I know glass is used all the time and works great but i was just looking for a different option.

My thought is that it's probably okay considering SS flasks are used to store alcoholic contents for consumption. I'm not an expert though.

Pour a little in the flask to test it. It couldn't hurt, but like Jim said don't drink it !

well on another forum i was informed that Turtle Bay sells their bay rum in a flask...sooooo that tells me go ahead and buy those flasks and fill them up. if a AS Maker thinks it is ok for his Bay Rum, then its good enough for mine.

Personally i feel a Good Bay Rum coming out of a Flask is the PERFECT combination of classyness and cool. But yeah i gotta remember not to drink it...

There's a local barbershop near me called Bolt Barbers that sells their aftershave in a SS flask. No issues with their product at all. Seems like a cool storage container to keep on the counter.
