Speick sticker shock

So how good is this stuff? I just ordered a bottle, but am still having a little sticker shock. $15 for 3.4 oz? Seems a little steep. How long will a bottle normally last? I ordered some Proraso to, can't wait to try them both.

Speick is a spectacular A/S. Nothing makes my face feel better after a rough shave, hell it makes my face feel great after a good shave!

How long does a normal bottle of AS last you?

My bottle is about 3 months old and i still have maybe 1 more month. I use it most days even though i don't shave everyday and sometimes use it twice a day. I paid about €5 so about $7.50 but if i was back in the states don't know i would pay 15 for it but the scent is awesome.

All I have ever used is Osage as an after shave. So it's probably not an apples to apples comparison.

One of my favs.
Be warned, the smell is odd- unlike anything you can imagine! But it grows on you big time, and is heaven on just-shaved skin!
Cheers

i wouldn't say odd. i find it peppery and somewhat sweet but really manly. i really like the scent to bad SWMBO doesn't, i still don't understand that she really like tabac but not speick

Just tried Speick for the first time last night. Pretty good stuff. Scent is good, performance is better, but given time I could see myself growing to love it.

Musgo Real on the other hand..tried that this morning...pretty poor smelling to me

Agreed - from a price perspective it's "lower mid" tier. I enjoy aftershaves in all these ranges. Enjoy your new aftershave. Spieck has an awesome reputation and is on my short list to try some day.

$5ish = Drugstore aftershaves
$15ish = Lower Mid Tier Spieck, Musgo, Floid
$35ish = Upper Mid Tier: DR Harris
$80ish and beyond = Top shelf - Penhaligons, Floris

Speick is great stuff one of my favorites. Although not as cheap as drugstore aftershaves-it still is relatively attainable. Performs as well as and probably better IMHO as D.R. Harris AS and those are 2X the price. I recently tried a tester of Penhalgions Blenheim Bouquet and thought , hmmm. this smells nice-then looked and saw bottle was about $100! No-thanks I'll stick to my Speick.

I bought a bottle in February. I use it 4-5 times a week and I haven't gotten through a quarter of it yet. The performance and scent are excellent. I only use other AS for variety.

My more expensive aftershaves I go more lightly, just pour it so you have the bottle directly on your hand and flip it over. Works good enough for me!

I'm not sure about the smell but the performance is fantastic, it's the best performer I have on my opinion. Luckily it's dirt cheap over here so it'll always be assured a spot in the starting line up.

Worth every penny.

'nuff said.

Speick is one of the best aftershaves out there and its healing properties are second to none. Not the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive either. The Floris aftershave, which was mentioned above, doesn't even come close and it costs about 5 times as much.
