South of France soaps

I just saw that the local Wal-mart is carrying some bar soap marked South of France. Anyone have experience with this brand?

Whole Foods carries these as well but have never tried them. I do like Whole Foods triple milled soaps, though

I tried a bar of sandalwood once (from World Market).

It was ok. Scent was 'meh' but the soap lasted for quite awhile.

Some of their other bars smell good though. If the price were right, I would consider getting more.

How are they priceed @ walmart...6.00 at my whole foods. As seeizure said, some good scents, some not so much but they do last.

They only had two to choose from, Shea Butter was one of them. Price (if I recall correctly) $4.29 for a box of two of the smaller bars but cannot say if 100gr or 150gr off the top of my head.

These have just popped up in my local TKMaxx for £2.99 a bar. They had several scents too so I'll buy one and try it.

One of the best lathering bath soaps with my well water. I've been using the shea butter for about a year, but now having trouble finding it. I used to buy the 8oz bar at a supermarket but haven't seen it recently. Walmart carries a 2-pack of smaller bars, but today I saw only the lavender. I usually stock up when I do find them.

Are these the same as the Whole Foods branded soaps? I am using the Whole Foods shea butter which was 8oz. It is BIG and lathers REALLY well.

It's been a couple of years since I had a Whole Foods soap, but I think both the WF and SOF soaps are triple-milled which is probably why they lather so well. Maybe they are the same. I may have to break down and make that hour trip to WF if I can't find my SOF.

The South Of France soaps I've used have been great. They seem a little expensive @ $6.00, but when you consider how long they last they are pretty economical. If they are not the same as Whole Foods brand soaps, they are very, very similar.

I found the 2-pack of Shea Butter at another Walmart today for $3.97 so I stocked up. I love the scent of this soap.

Yes! I posted a review on the shea butter soap on badger & blade reviews. Moisturizing, good lather, incredible scent, and lasts a long time.
