I found a poll elsewhere on the site that indicates most of us are young or youngish but a few of us are in our geezer phase. As a full fledged old guy I have a preference for pretty traditional clothing, the stuff that is never in style, is amazingly comfortable, mainly or exclusively made in the USA (UK for woolens), and wears forever, the qualities which will make me pay what seem like exorbitant prices but on a per wearing basis are actually very reasonable. You know what I mean: all cotton khakis, cords, OCBDs, wool sox and sweaters, and sack jackets. I gave up on Brooks Brothers decades ago, am pretty much over J. Press, could never afford Cable Car Clothiers or Ben Silver, and really like O'Connell's (stellar online presence and also great on the phone) and Hunter and Coggins (website is out of date, but they are great on the phone). I recently discovered great deals at the Andover Shop when they had a sale. Got any other good sources? Bonus points if they have a good online presence and more bonus points for good sales!
