Celestino, your images are so consistently superb that it often feels gratuitous to comment on them daily. As good as they are regularly, this one stands out for me. You've captured the light at a special time of day. From a technical standpoint, I suppose a critic might prefer other of your photos. From an emotional perspective, this one is jsut perfect. Grabs you and pulls you right into that low (I assume) early morning sun. Just plain super, this one. That's my two cents for today. Kind of makes one feel like having a shave outdoors in the brisk morning air (well, not where I am, as it's in the 20s here today ... brrrrr! No need of icicles hanging from the droopy ends of my moustache).

Overcast & mild here this morning, 27°F/-3°C and 80% chance of showers in the forecast. This morning was my first shave with another old Wade & Butcher wedge I picked up a while back. All original mid-19th C. vintage and fresh off the hones, it was an excellent shave. Have a good 'un folks.

Seems that pet pics are the underdog in this pet theme week thread. That will just not do!

* Rob, I thank you, sincerely and humbly, for your very kind words, my friend!

The photo did indeed turn out very well and it was 3:30pm, this past Saturday, just as the sun was setting. Those dark days in Vancouver seem to come upon us very quickly and you forget that there actually is sunlight!
On a technical aspect, I am clueless, myself, as I am still trying to figure out how to improve my photos and take some nicer ones. I just shoot what I like and do a tiny bit of editing to capture what suits me. :biggrin1:

Great shave with a great soap. Overtime I have accumulated quite a bit of soap samples. I've decided that I'd better start using them and not just give them the sniff test.
