This was a great shave with some of my favorite products. I really like some of the older pewter items that I have, most of which were gifts from quite a few years ago. On the infrequent occasions that I use a cartridge, I am somewhat surprised at how close a shave they provide. I think that it just underscores the notion that it is the preparation with good wet shave products and brush that makes a great deal of the difference. Experience and technique help as well.

I was really curious as to how the TJ's cream would work seeing as it's technically a "brushless" cream. It took a little extra work and a little extra water but I got three slick, creamy-goodness filled passes (WTG, XTG, ATG) for irritation-free BBS shave. And, oh the scent!! Top notch!
