Yeah, that's the same knot that was in mine but I had to get rid of it due to it being too soft. There was absolutely no backbone. It was like trying to build lather with a wet noodle.It has the original "Pure Badger" knot. It's really soft, with lot of flop, it'd likely be sold as "Finest" today.
It's perfect for creams and some croaps as well.
Plus, I really dig the Lucite handle. It doesn't get any more retro than Lucite!
