Softer than Whipped Dog !

Guys,
Whats Up !?
I have bought and tried quite alot WD Silvertip brushes with different lofts and knots but they are a bit scrubby for me ! The feel is quite good overall but i am not entirely satisfied.
So, I am looking for a softer brush than the WD. Is there any which is not as expensive as a Chubby or a Thater ??

The Thater I have is the softest brush I have ever used. The grade A silvertip is also very soft. I have never used a WD silvertip so I can't make a comparison.

The softest brush I have used is my kent bk8. It is much softer than the whipped dog silver tip. I got mine online for $115 shipped. I can't remember the site but I can look it up. It is a bit floppy if that bothers you.

My Bk4 is softer than my WD silvertip in vintage handle. It is the softest brush I have ever had.

Have you considered a synthetic? I find my Muhle silvertip fiber v2.0 to be incredibly soft and luxurious. Plus, it dries very quickly so it makes a nice travel brush.

I simply hate floppy brushes !
I have tried the Silvertip Grade A from TGN and its scritchy 2 my face. I have the HIS Brush but its very different. I want Badger hair and soft. The Thater 3 band and Chubby 3 band comes to mind. What else is there ? Savile row ?

I've used a WD at standard height ad it was like using a cotton ball on my face. I could barely feel it, it was so floppy. Made excellent lather, it just wasn't scrubby enough. Now the pure black badger on the other hand, that was like lathering with a wire brush.

+1 for Kents although be warned some guys think the Kents are too floppy.

As a curve ball - have you considered a boar? Once broken in they are incredibly soft-tipped!

My Whipped Dog is softer than my TGN Silvertip A. The only brush I've used that was softer than the WD Silvertip was a synthetic. Another option is to try a 2-band brush because the tips can curl and clump and feel super soft when wet. Boars can be similar too.

I have a Grade A from TGN that is super soft. However I have gotten knots that or not the same. I dont know if his current batch is more like the old ones or not

I have a few omegas but they are not near WD ! Anything from WSP or Wiborg better?
