Soft Soap Shelf Life? - Went a Little Overboard on Purchases

So, like the title states I got a little over zealous and purchased 4 tubs of Stirling's Naked and Smooth about 3+ years ago, now. I then took a break from shaving for close 2 years as I grew out a beard that my wife loved, but I eventually got tired of lol. I now have a new career that requires me to be clean shaven on the daily, so its back to shaving I went.

I haven't made any purchases in close to 4 years, and I have been taking stock of my shave den which still has a fairly healthy amount of product in it. Opening up the tubs of Stirling, I can see they have begun to pull away from the sides of the tub, but overall they still look decent and they don't have a rancid smell to them at all. I've been keeping them in my downstairs bathroom closet which is always temperature and light controlled, so I'm assuming that has a lot to do with it.

Stirling's tubs last a long time for me, so I probably won't be finishing these tubs for another 2+ years as well, putting their age at 5-6 years by the time they're all said and done. I've been using one tub and everything seems to be going fine with it. Still lathers great, no smell, with great slickness and protection. I know if they were a harder soap, this wouldn't be a concern for me at all, but has anyone had a Stirling soap more than 5 years and can chime in how well they lasted?

I know they're fairly inexpensive and it might seem to be a trivial matter, I just don't like waste and Stirling always makes a great product, so I wanted to get as much use from them as possible. When the time comes, I'm just going to purchase one tub at a time from now on.

This, on the other hand, is troubling:

This recent thread should help. Per the posts it appears that Stirling can go bad (see post#13) though this appears to be a rare instance. In most cases the primary issue with age is that a soap loses its scent. Overall recommendation is to apply your own judgement and use the soaps so long as there are no issues or any irritation.

I've got a really keen sense of smell and many soaps have way too strong of a scent for me when I first buy them. My Stirling Executive Man was overpowering when I first bought it years ago. But after years of sitting it has mellowed out and now I quite like it.
A lot of the Stirling soaps are extremely strong. Though Executive Man is on the higher end to me
