All Very Good Tips,and all will work just as equally,with a little practice....Really Liked the post about the purists,and i agree that it should be disclosed...Here is My Custom 1965 "Red Ring" Slim Adjustable(used to be Dads,Never For Sale)..Please dont consider this "Blasphemy",..Used the toothpick method...

Now I realize I should have chosen a different color, but I only have black and clear nail polish, as I'm single. The Schick might look good in red, or maybe a middle shade of blue.

I too use oil based model paint applied with a needle. Always gets excellent results.
