Okay, they've been sung before, before I've just become a convert to the Gillette Bleues.
A very nice person on this site did an exchange with me...and I got the much better deal, I think.
First, the bad things: The pack of 10 I got is the worst packaged thing I've even seen. Packed in a plastic box that was incredibly difficult to open, the blades are not wrapped. and are basically laid on top of each other and glued, so you have to separate them from their neighbors. I'm lucky I didn't get major lacertations.
Anyway, once that was done, I tried it with my Fatboy and some of my new Mama Bear's Eucalyptis. Now, to be fair, the Mama Bear put up a much better lather than the Omega I've been using.
But even a crappy soap would have been okay, because these are, hands down, the best blades I've used so far. Imagine a blade that's just about as sharp and smooth as Feathers but without the latter's lacerating and irritating qualities and you have the bleues.
Two passes left one of the best BBS's I have had in a long time. I'm only one day 2 with them, so not sure what their longevity will be, but even if they last only two shaves they're worth it.
My next test with be to try a Bleue with my Red Tip, my most "unfavorite" DE, to see if they turn this ugly duckling into a swan.
