Simpsons Commodore x2 (Ireland)

Was dragged shopping with the wife today into Dublin City and decided, heck while she's having fun I might as well too! Well I came across knights barbers in the Stephens green shopping centre and was blown away. They've got everything from trumpers, Muhle, Tobs and best of all Simpsons brushes!

After some deliberation Between a colonel and a commodore I came with trumpers Eucris soap in a bowl and a Simpsons commodore x2 best badger. Cannot wait to have my first shave with this. Although I've found my Muhle pure badger to be very pleasant this feels like a real step up in the world.
I have a feeling ill be back in to this place with the colonel in my hand pretty soon too!

These simpsons brushes are a real thing of Beaty and opulence.
Cheers, Steve.

Great brush and good soap, congrats Steve!

P.S. I have excellent memories of Dublin, it's one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen. I went there in 2007 with my wife (at the time not married yet) and we also went in Stephens Green Shopping Center where you purchased your wet shaving items!

Indeed dublin is a great city but Italy has some really amazing places on offer. I've had the pleasure of visiting Rome, Venice, Florence, Naples, Pescara, Milan, Turin and Bologna but most recently I was in Imola on a business trip and was blown away by it. Really reminded me of small towns here in Ireland and the people there were great.
You should bring your now wife to dublin again and make a trip to Stephens green again. Killing two birds with the one stone as we say!

I'd love to make a second trip to Dublin and certainly will sometime in the future. Unfortunately not immediately because now we have an 11 months old baby to look after. By the way, here in Italy we say "prendere due piccioni con una fava", which is almost the same as "killing two birds with the one stone"!

My fiance and I are going to Italy for our honeymoon in August.

I actually made a thread in the Barbershop asking for advice on where to stay in Amafli area.

I look forward to Italy, and was hoping to stumble upon some Italian Barbershops

Brushes, soaps, creams, razors..... with any sort of shaving kit, it makes a huge difference to be able to hold the item in your hand rather than ordering over the internet. I hope that your local store prospers long.
