Simpsons Chubby II best vs Truefitt and Hill Large Style I

Any thoughts? The price difference is almost 70 $ and I wanted to make sure I don't end up spending more if there is no difference. I want something for soaps and creams as lately I have just re-ventured into the world of soaps and this time I think - I think - I am getting good acceptable results...

I don't own any Simpsons, but I do own a t&h 1/1 & 1/2. They are Rooney's & great brushes plus Todd is a nice guy to deal with.

I have both and you can't go wrong with either. The T&H is a very nice brush as is the Simpson. the Chubby is a dense brush that holds a ton of lather. If I had to pick one over the other it would be hard. I have all the Chubbys in Best and a Chubby in 2 band, I have two Rooneys, one is a T&H and one is an actual Rooney. The Chubby 2 and the Rooneys get used about the same in my rotation. Is the Simpson worth more than the Rooney, that is a tough call, what with YMMV and all. If your money is tight and you are looking for the least expensive way out, get the less expensive brush, you won't be sorry.
