Good brush: I have had one for a couple of years. The knot is a hybrid fan-bulb with Best hair, dense and scrubby. Mine is sort of like a short-lofted CH-1, which makes it better than a CH-1 for me. The only drawback is that the handle is a bit short at 40-mm. If it had a 50-mm handle I would probably use it more often.

My Classic2 is affectionately known as "Mr Angry"- all hair and no handle. A dense, scrubby brush- perfect for my needs.
A marvellous brush indeed, actually as good as a Chubby 1 for me.
You talked me into using mine today. The handle is under all that lather somewhere.

Almost got one but then went CH 1 for my first Simpsons. Still on my radar along with a Duke 2...
I am quite happy with my Classic 2 and Commodore 2. The first is short, dense, and good for a face lather, and the latter is very good with a bowl, but not nearly as dense or firm.
