Simpson 57 first drive of it today

Picked up a Simpson 57 from and fellow B&B gent in Canada who was kind enough to post International.
Only brush I own is a Semogue 2020 (I think) so its all I have to compare to.
Did my usual bowl lather routine and noticed more bubbles that normal but these were soon whipped up into a heck of a lather.
Over flowed the bowl sooner than usual which was quite noticeable by comparison. I didn't get things quite right first time
as the lather was thinning on my face sooner than normal but I should nail it next time.
Seems like a great brush !

Also quick question Gents, do I need to hang this brush upside down for drying or is it ok upright?

There is allot of talk on the hang or not to hang issue and my take away is that it doesn't matter. Great pic, nice looking brush

One of the best - if not the best - handles in the business. I like my 57 handle better than the Duke 3 handle, for instance.
In Best badger I imagine it a fantastic performer, and true value for money.

Standing upright is OK for drying IMHO. Great looking brush!

Congrats! I start drying my brushes upside down and finish them upright.

Fine looking brush! it should be a wonderful performer.

I don't think that it matters which direction that you dry your brush.

Just leave your brush in an area that will allow evaporation to occur, on the bathroom counter would be fine, in the medicine cabinet not so much.

Upright is fine, looks nice
