Simpson 2 Band Brushes

shaving.ie has some nice ones that I have not seen anywhere else. Duke 2 and 3, as I recall.
WCS has two-band chubbies from what I recall. And maybe Polos? Tulips?
And I think thesuperiorshave has Tulips, Key holes, and maybe 58s?
If my budget allowed for it, I would be looking at the 2-band Dukes

But there are other nice two bands out there
IMO you have the best Simpson has to offer, why not try other two bands?
That said, if your going to buy a Simpson I say buy it from the Superior Shave. Jarrod puts individual pictures of his brushes up, so you can choose the one that suites you most. No one else does this. With the variance between their hand made brushes, I cant put to much of a premium on this truly unique service.

I was actually thinking about Thater and shavemacs just wasnt sure how they stood up to the quality of the simpson ones

Bullgoose has Shavemac, Straightrazordesigns has Thater, and Royalshave has both

Until recently, when I added M&F 2-band Heritage 24.5/49 mm fan to my brush collection, I liked Simpsons' 2-band the most. M&F is my favourite 2-band brush now. It has the softness of the Simpsons 2-band with the flow through of Thäter 2-band.
Actually, I like both the Blonde and the Heritage a lot but they are quite different. The Blonde has similar to D01 softness and backbone.

Hmmm, interesting move by Simpsons.
That on top of the recent price hike (prices are going up on average 15-20% across all vendors)... Sounds like somebody is pricing themselves out of the market... Good thing I assembled my 2 bands prior to this ...

I've been looking at Simpson and Thater 2-bands for a purchase near Chistmas. Looks like the scales have started to tip in Thater's direction.
The chubby has been my favorite brush. Two band or three, absolutely fantastic. Tough to beat really, and I've sampled my fair share of brushes.

Was trying to get Chris to sell me a Chubby 3 Manchurian, but he couldn't get it. Then asked for a Chubby 3 2-Band and was told they from now on will be sold exclusively at the official Simpson webshop
