Silver Replating

I have seen replating on here done with gold, rhodium and nickel but does anyone offer to do plating with silver?

You can find silver platers in your local phone book.
Silver's not that popular because most guys don't want to have to polish their razor all the time when they tarnish.

What did it cost? I've been meaning to go down to the local jeweler to see if he'd replate a couple older razors for me, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Maybe I can use the cost of yours as a bargaining chip or maybe avoid "sticker shock" when he tells me how much he would charge. lol

I did a small batch of items - the razor was a 1917 flarebottom, a tea strainer stand and a small dish - total was $75. I am guessing $35-40 for the razor since it would take more work than just a dish. I don't think the silver itself costs much.
