Silly Question

Not quite sure what you mean? If you are holding the razor upright with doors fully open blades will slot in by laying it flat length ways in between doors then screw TTO mechanism clock wise to close doors and lock in place.

Remember the last turn to close and lock will not move as freely as the rest, but will ultimately stop completely and lock.

It should just sit in the razor like this: (although this is a slim, it's the same design) and then twist to close the doors, not overly tight, but enough to secure the blade.

Hmmmm, this will limit some of the razors I can use as a few I like only have three prongs and not an entire open bar in the middle for the seating assembly. Oh well! Fatboy! Woooo! lol

Most DE blades will fit most razors, the slot/cut outs are designed to be multi fit ie, to go over solid bars (like the fatboy) or over prongs. There are a few makers (vintage) that had proprietary blades for their razors, in other words you had to buy their blades for their razors. I have a Wardonia razor like that, the prongs are spaced ever so slightly different so a standard DE blade doesn't fit (but with a few snips here & there with some shears, I can get one to work ;)
