What's new

SigFem Says "Kitsch"!

Another package off of Amazon today. My very own copy of
"The Hilarious House of Frightenstein"

It is going next to my copy of "The Starlost" and "HR PufnStuf" (I always had a secret crush on Witchiepoo)

"Kitsch!" cries the SigFem. "Drek!" "Don't play that while I'm here!"

Fine.

I love this stuff and I'm not afraid to admit it. I loved it when it was new and I love it now. It reminds me of summers at the lake and frigid Saturdays in my pyjamas sacked out with my collie in front of the TV.

What brings you back to those days?

I never heard of Frightenstein.

Pufnstuf? I wondered what kind of drugs the creators and writers were on, and how they managed to sell that to network TV...

Huh.

I guess I don't dare mention my collection of chop-socky films, everything from badly dubbed Hong Kong stuff to "The Last Dragon"

This was the coolest show on the block when I was 9 or 10 years old.

The intro featured Vincent Price

And the music sequences were the coolest!
