This is my bowl that i've been using for a while. It's from Target but I'm looking for a better more one-of-a-kind bowl. 
Bowl set from IKEA aprox 5 USD, I fill the big bowl with hot water and lather in the small one. I've glued a piece of rubber under the small one to prevent if from sliding.
Any excuse for me to show off my custom brush and bowl.

What kind of wood is that? Who made the set?
Quick iPhone pic of mine. $3.99 at World Market. Thick enough to retain heat and although not sure if you can tell from the pic it has "facets" on the outside that make it very easy to hold. Believe it was billed as a rice bowl:

They are made out of zebrawood. The set was made by Soul Surfer and there are more pictures here

I got two of these footed bowls for $12. I kept one for myself and gave the other to my dad for his shave kit. They are nice heavy porcelain so they retain heat well, the inward sloping rim helps the lather stay in the bowl, and the foot makes for a convenient grip. All in all one of my better purchases. Oh and it looks nice on the vanity too.
