Wondering if anyone can help me with some tips on shimming. Just got a new razor (cheap weishi). Like the razor a lot to be honest but it is a little mild. Hoping shimming may make it a little more aggressive.

This is quite easy to accomplish. If you have a pair of tin snips, or maybe even sharp scissors, take a spare DE blade, and shear the cutting edges off. Viola, an instant shim.

Thanks guys, did this last night and had a good go at it this morning. Once I found the sweet spot it was 3 passes and off to work. Great shave! Other than the little rattle in the razor quite happy. It will do fine for my ladys house.
