In post # 8 someone has a picture of a Shermac round razor. I would like to know more about it, what kind of razor it uses, its original purpose, etc, does anyone know?

Looks like a ladies armpit shaver. It more than likely used some specialty blade no longer in production.

Exactly. It's an underarm shaver. It was marketed to women. No doubt many men used it as well. Not easy to find replacement blades I imagine.
