Thanks! I never realized they were so heavy. This is one heavy razor. The last one I held in my hands didn't seem as heavy as this one. Did they make a slim and a fatboy or are they all the same?

Indeed they are, but they're out there. Patience pays off if you're willing to look for one.

Of course he should shave with it! Unless it has a case, how can you be sure it is unused? You'll just torture yourself.
Looks like a nickel plated rather than the usual gold-plated toggles we see more frequently. Is that true? If so -- really great score on a really rare razor! Regardless it is a veritable beauty.
It's a gold one. The eBay pictures were a little easier to discern on that one.
Wish mine looked that good....but I'll keep it anyway!

It's gold plated and for the most part, pristine. One of the doors looks like very light rainbow effect going on. Other than that, not a scratch and no signs of use anywhere. I'm still trying to make up my mind whether or not I want to shave with it at least once. I probably will but there's something in me saying don't.
