Shaving Websites

Fairly new to wetshaving. I was looking for some good webistes to order some shaving goodies. Any advice?? Has anyone ordered anything from ShaveNation.com?? Thats really been the only webiste I have looked at so far. Prices seemed reasonable. Im just looking for some small items as of now. E.I. shaving soap, perferably Arko shaving stick(Hear people talk about it all the time). some Proraso pre/post cream, and I want to try to new blades. Ive only tried the Wilkinson Sword and Merkur SP blades. Any ideas from anyone would be greatly appreciated!!

Have a look at this thread, and the links in it.

+1 on the above.

Shavenation.com's Proraso prices seem high (unless they are not listed in US$). $20 for the pre-shave cream versus $13 just about everywhere else is probably the biggest discrepancy. Proraso SC at $13 versus $11 elsewhere.

I highly recommend Bullgooseshaving.net. Very, Very responsive and speedy turnaround. Using them for almost three years with no complaints on service or product. Only criticism is their product selection is limited but nonetheless with quality products.
If you want to sample quality European shaving products, I highly recommend Italianbarber.com. Large selection of quality products unattainable in USA retail stores i.e. Floid Blue or Vitos. Only a mild criticism, because of US Import restriction, they have to ship through Canada and thus delivery takes longer, usually 7 or 8 business days but worth the wait.
Hope this helps you get started.

Why not support B&B vendors?

What he said.

Anyone can order from an Amazon. If you want to make a difference with your purchase then buying from a vendor here on B&B is a terrific way to help the community. Tell me the last time you got an Amazon purchase with a short written thank you note that came with it. Oh, and personal service that is unmatched with our full line vendors. Plus they are guys that you can converse with if you like. B&B is the way to go.

+1 for Captain Pre-Capsize!
Couldn't agree more! The vendors here are small businessmen and women, who know their stuff (and in some cases make it). They offer expert advice to their customers (sometimes to the manufacturers!), commission LE items and do other great things. The world would be poorer without them (as it already poorer without so many small scale vendors in other areas).
