Shaving Slanted

I don't own a slant razor, but I shave with the razor slanted at about a 30 degree angle. And shave from ear to chin when going w
WTG. Shave normal 90 degree across the grain, then finish with a straight up stroke with the razor at about a 30 degree angle. I feel my shaves are 9.5 / 10 everyday. Does anyone else shave in a similar manner?

I do it, too. @Tallships calls it “The Guillotine Stroke” and that makes it more metal. 🤘
Yup, but I have a tendency to nick myself using a Slide stroke, but instead of sliding the razor, I angle the razor and go straight down, using the razor as if it were a Slant, Guillotine, or Sheff's knife, thus eliminating for me, the need for a Slant Razor

Since I learned of the Gillette slide a few years ago, it's used exclusively on tough areas of my neck.

It's so good, I've also managed to get better shaves from a self honed straight razor in my learning days. I know it would be called slide-o-death with a straight.
