Shaving shops eastcoast?

Hi there,

I am planning a roadtrip this year, starting somewhere around Toronto, all the way down to Miami. Are there any cool shops I should visit in Toronto, Boston, NY, Philly, DC or Miami? I'm looking for a nice Gillette superspeed, good brushes etc. Just stuff we can't get in Europe for a reasonable price.

Tnx!

I'll put a plug in for Colonial Drug in Cambridge, MA. Small shop, but full of well-selected shaving products and knowledgeable staff. It's like stepping back in time. Also, it's right in Harvard Square, so there's lots of other stuff to check out in the area. (Be sure to pick up a hot chocolate from L.A. Burdick across the street.)

Also Leavitt & Peirce is in Harvard Square, and while they are primarily a tabbaconist, they have a nice selection of hardware, software, and a lot of aftershaves and colognes. They have a lot less than Colonial Drug, but definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Pasteurs in New York. Two locations, on 34th St in Midtown and Lexington Ave Uptown. The place is legendary and has more shaving stuff than you've ever seen before. Kid in the candy store time. Think WCS only real.
