Just went down to IKEA for a few things around the house and got myself an extendable bathroom mirror to shave with. Do any of you other gents use a magnifying mirror or other extendable mirror while you shave?

Yup, I use a similar extended mirror for shaving. Makes it easier to see detail, and also keeps me from having to lean over the sink the whole time.
I used one in the past and it was quite useful in helping me find those missed spots. I really hated going in to work only to discover a few stray hairs that were not shaved.
Will be getting an extended mirror sometime in the near future for the same reason as DavidP. Having to bend over the sink isn't good (on my back). 
Have considered a 6" diameter one, but was concerned it would be too small. Was looking at this one:

I don't have one just now. I find a regular mirror to work fine, but the critical part is lighting.
However, Mühle is sending me one for free after I informed them I was allergic to one of their soaps that I bought. What a great company.
Don't know what kind they send yet, but I'm guessing a smaller travel version.
